Ok, before you ask--no, I didn't come up with Woolverinez. It was the brainchild of a customer at the Starbucks where I used to work. (I wish I could remember his name but I only remember his drink--a grande green tea.) But I think it fits me and my fanbase pretty excellently. The wolverine is a hardy critter known for appearing small and unthreatening, but possessing hidden ferocity and strength to take down prey more than twice its size.
But unlike the wolverine, the Woolverinez are anything but solitary. While your membership will get you exclusive merch, behind-the-music sneak peeks, early access to upcoming music and videos, and plenty more, I don't call it a "fan club" because I want it to be about US, not me. It's a place for dreamers and doers, for underdogs and revolutionaries, for people who value diversity, collaboration, theatre, and color.
